Vacation Rental Information

Airport:  The airport servicing the Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo area is the Los Cabos International Airport, San Jose del Cabo (SJD). The airport’s website is http://sjdloscabosairport.com.  There are many direct flights now offered from several major US cities.  Upon arriving, if you require an airport transfer we will gladly arrange transportation for you.

Car Rental:  If not using a personal luxury car service, but would like to acquire a rental car for your stay, the SJD airport has the following nationally recognized car rental agencies onsite:

Passports: US citizens are required to have a passport. As of January 1, 2007 a certified copy of a birth certificate will no longer suffice. Non-US citizens should check to see if a visa is also necessary.

Money and ATMs:  The legal tender is the Mexican Peso, approximately a 10:1 exchange rate.   You will receive the best exchange rates withdrawing cash from an ATM machine.

High Speed Internet:  If you care to stay connected to the rest of the world, the many rental villas have complimentary high-speed internet service.

About the Area:  The Los Cabos area is made up of two Mexican towns, San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.   San Jose is a quaint village; the streets are lined with art galleries, boutique shops and a variety of fabulous restaurants. Cabo san Lucas has stores of all kinds, beautiful beaches, and very lively nightlife.  These two distinct atmospheres are sure to meet the needs of all types of vacationers.

Grocery Store:  The largest supermarket, Mega, similar to a Super Target, for your everyday needs and groceries, is located near the town of San Jose del Cabo. There is also a Costco near the town of Cabo San Lucas.

The Best Swimming Beach:  The most famous beach in Cabo san Lucas is lively Playa Medano (near the Loverís Arch), and is great for swimming, tanning, and taking in all of the Mexican culture.

ATV Tours:  For a memory of a lifetime, drive your own an ATV in the beautiful mountains and in the sand dunes of the Los Cabos beaches. The All Terrain Vehicles are large enough for two.
